You've probably wondered who are the most expensive cities to live in the moment, and thanks to Economist Intelligence Unit cost new in the world of Life Survey, we have an answer to this question. The study compares the cost of living in 140 cities in 93 countries and focuses on the prices of goods and services such as food, transportation, schools, domestic help, etc..
New York is used as the basis of research economist with a score of 100. The first two cities to the list this year, Zurich and Tokyo have a score of 170 and 166, respectively, which means they are 70% and 66% more expensive than living in the city of New York. The ten most expensive cities were divided equally between Europe and Asia Pacific.

1. Zurich, Switzerland
