Guinness World’s First Deep Sea Bar by Jump Studio


To commemorate the anniversary of 250 years of Guinness, a submarine had been transformed into a bar in Sea World first and only deep. The daunting task was undertaken by the high price Jump Studios, London. Working with the engineer and the carpenter Nicolas Alexander, have taken the submarine in the Stockholm archipelago in Sweden.
They need to build a new set of prefabricated interior difficult conditions, with temperatures below zero, just before placing the bar to its final resting place in the bottom of the Baltic Sea. As you can see from the photos, the submarine has an interior decorated with 118 square meters and covered with hard rubber and glass reinforced plastics.

The bar itself features like bubbles can be seen, some of them full of LED lights, while others may serve a beverage underpinnings. Moreover, the seats are made ​​of specially designed corners, while the tables to fit seamlessly into this environment very artificial.

The depth of the bar is made ​​that some of the most important challenges, security-mechanics are monitored daily, while the security protocols of ventilation and fire followed exactly. This extraordinary project was commissioned for the competition of Guinness the sea, as a celebration of 250 years of activity.
